Mafia Meetup 2013

Where
UNCONFIRMED. We are currently considering several location. We will be within the Sterling, VA or Alexandria, VA areas.
All of the hotels considered will be within a cab ride from an Amtrak station. Greyhound will be accessible. Once we hit our funding goals we'll have more info.
 
What
Video games, board games, RPGs, card games, movies, music, and everything else you want to do crammed into one small room. Except grabbing breasts. No breast grabbing allowed. Ever.

$3,000 (weaksauce), $6,000 (prosauce), or $10,000 (bbqsauce)
 
Cost
$50+ to get in the door. If you can contribute more, great - you'll be helping us make the meetup even more awesome.
Badges are non-refundable but ARE transferrable (you can give yours away as a gift)
 
You can still contribute less than $50. If you do, your money will be put towards streaming the entire event and making the website more awesome!

Minimum Attendence
50. The more people we sign up, the larger space we'll get (and the more games we can OD on).
 
If we don't hit the minimum we're still doing this - just not in a big space.
 
Cost Breakdown
These costs are subject to change, and could be eliminated completely depending on meeting funding goals
 
Meeting space: ~$1000/day, depending on the size and scope of what we're doing.
Bartop MAME cabinet: ~$500/build. Depending on funding, we can build multiple machines.
4-player MAME Cabinet: ~$1500/build. Only if we reach super-high funding goals.
Swag Bags: ~$1000 with a special community surprise inside (if we hit funding goals).
Streaming: ~$250 so we can supply whoever mans the streaming computer with enough soda!
Food & Drinks: $500+ so we can supply you with a never ending supply of free pizza and soda.

 
We've all talked about doing this meetup, so let's do it for real. No more bullshit visits to the Staten Island Yankees or lame pizza parties at Dominos. Let's get together and do the one thing we want to fucking do: game.
